DIVISION 1 Game Recaps
DIVISION 2 Game Recaps
[Eagles Reporting from ABasso]: The Eagles continue to have a good season, but unlike last year their 15-3 duplicate record will not be good enough to catch the Parlays. Flash Wilkey was hot 4-5, George V went 3-5, Chris P is 3-4, walk, Brian G 3-4 (yes, book re-checked), and Craig V was 3-4, raising his BA for the 7th week in a row; Brian G shined, 4 Rbi; can this be true, Brian G had 4 Rbi, OMG
Goat of the Game - Entire Team: hit 16 easy fly ball outs. The Skipper Hitting Class produced 22 hits but 16 flies, yuck ! Team will be called back to Hitting Lesson 2 (how to drive ball, taught by famous 22 year' All-Star and Instructor, ANB), over Labor Day w/e Friday Nite, then release them for the family holiday splash
Hero of the Game: Joe R, who hauled in or ran in 6 balls in stellar LF play; not to be out-done Craig V added 2 himself; Holy Cow, Brian G in RF had Halligans mixed up, no one hit the ball to RF! Not bad for the youngster, called up from triple A ball a month ago, playing for the Eagle-Street Nest in Eagle Valley
Albatross continues w 16 easy fly outs, up from13 last wk. It is noted that 5 players were away, while 2 injured, so playing out of position and playing well, were 3B Brian U, 1B Jeff L, RCF Chris P and RF Brian G, quite a deep roster of softball players who love the game.
[Deaheads Reporting from MElba]: Deadheads over Mavs. Great to see a couple of traitors,I mean former players. lol
The offense was led by : Eli( Double,Triple,Homer,sac Fly and 6 RBIs),Mike ( 2-4, Double,2RBI’s),Lee(3-3,2RBIs),
